Kelly has over 20 years experience in traditional and online design. Starting his Internet career at Clear Ink in 1997, he helped the company establish and define itself in the online space. He helped transform a small start-up into a true Internet Professional Services company.
With his diverse background in traditional design, online design and emerging technologies, he was a perfect fit with the company's philosophy of bringing together imaginative minds from the fields of business strategy, advertising, database analytics, and Internet professional services, to help people succeed in a tumultuous time of economic transformation and technology innovation.
Kelly came to Clear Ink from Farallon Communications, where he redesigned the company's corporate identity system. At Bechtel, he redesigned 100-page proposal templates for million-dollar jobs and improved the system by which they were produced, cutting the time required to complete them by 50 percent. He was a partner at MarKell Graphics, where he pioneered the use of early publishing technology, delivering high-end design solutions to his clients at a lower cost.
He has worked on projects for A.G. Ferrari, Ascend Communications, Asera, Aspect, Broderbund, Commerce One, Get Real Girl, Hewlett-Packard, I21, Jelly Belly, John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Systems, Pacific Bell, PeopleSoft, Restoration Hardware, Sagent, SalesForce.com, and SF Opera. Many of these sites were winners of the International Web Page Awards, and Kelly was even chosen as a judge for the 2000 Addy Awards.
Kelly is passionate about this industry and its future and believes that user experience is the key. He strives to perfect this by understanding the needs of clients and their customers, and coming up with the right mix to deliver a unique and effective solution that is both pleasing to the eye, and easy on the mind.
