Smashing Pixels was formed in October of 2001 after the company we worked for, a prominent Bay Area agency, succumbed to the pressures of the economic downturn.
Having been part of a large company, we are able to tap into our experience and take the best practices and methodologies and combine them with the personal attention and passion that can usually only be found in boutique agencies.
Since it's creation Smashing Pixels has used this philosophy to help our clients succeed. And since we don't have all the overhead associated with large agencies, we do it with without breaking their budgets.
